We were incredibly lucky to have the talented Kerry Mackay and Pamela Brown visit us today! They are from 'The Art Department' who offer schools a free visual art workshop. However, the waiting list for these sessions is huge...so much so that Ms Peeters actually applied for this session last year and was only accepted recently...so a big thank you to Ms Peeters for organising this for our class!
It was wonderful to see how painting can be so beautifully matched alongside poetry. We will be displaying our large class poem around the school, so be sure to check it out next time you are in!
