Shared Prayer!

Room 6's shared prayer this week was about making choices. We have recently finished our DARE program with Constable Ross and learning to make good choices was a big part of this. Harry, Tim and Asher made this video to see what other students around the school thought about making good choices.

Alien Landers!!!!

Room 4, 5 and 6 were challenged to design and build a shock absorbing lander to protect "aliens" during impact on earth. They had to brainstorm their design and build, test and modify their lander.
It was awesome to see such impressive teamwork and creative ideas.

DARE Fun Day!

Room 5 and 6 have recently completed the DARE program. We finished this off with a bang visiting Megazone and the Dunedin Police Station! We had a fabulous time at Megazone playing mini golf and laser tag, some of us were quite handy with a laser and Mrs McKewen was definitely a popular target!! Our visit to the Dunedin police station was fascinating and it's safe to say none of us want to be back down in those cells any time soon!:)

Cook Island Week!

This week is Cook Island week. We have been learning about the Cook Islands and were lucky enough to have Asher's Mum, Zoana come in and show us some amazing drumming and dancing.

                          

                            

                           

                            

                                         

                                         

Fitness tracks!

Room 6 have been designing fitness tracks with Google Draw as part of our Physical Education programme. Yesterday we tested them out with the help of Room 1 and Room 3.
