Literature Circles!
The students are currently each part of a reading group that hold literature circle meetings...very similar to a bookclub meeting!
They each have roles within the group and prepare work to share with their classmates.
It is going really well and all students seem to enjoy discussing the book with their classmates and contributing to their group session!

The last step in our inquiry...
A brainstorm of the people we would help in our community, to tie in with our this term's inquiry,
'How can we help to ensure a safe community for all?'.
The children showed great empathy and stretched their thinking. We have decided to plan an entertaining afternoon for a local rest home. Watch this space!
