Room 6 have been busy continuing their experimentation with printing. This week we used foam meat trays to create our own printing plate. We had to make sure our cityscape design was etched in deep enough to ensure a clear print. It was exciting to see how our prints turned out and we think the finished product is pretty awesome.

Collagraphy Printing!
As part of our Art unit Room 6 have been experimenting with Collagraphy.
What is Collagraph printing?
Collagraph printing is a printmaking process where materials are glued on to a "printing plate", we used a square of cardboard. The printing plate is then painted with paint or ink and paper is pressed onto the surface to achieve the prints.
