The Vinnies Leaders out in the community
Our Young Vinnies leaders have been busy writing to supermarkets and businesses asking for donations towards the toiletries collection. Today they went out to personally deliver their letters. Fingers crossed we get some good replies.
Look how much we have already!!
We would love people to keep bringing the toiletries. We are excited about what we will be able to give to the Refugees.

Our Museum Trip
On Friday we travelled down to the Otago Museum to study minibeasts and learn more about them. It was a great trip and we would like to say a BIG thank you to the parents who took us down in cars!

Working Together
This week we have been doing activities that need collaboration and team work. The first task was "Saving Fred". Fred the gummy worm was sailing in his plastic cup boat when it tipped over. Fred landed on top of the upside down boat and his life preserver was under the boat. Our task was to get the life preserver out and put it on Fred with only touching the paper clips we were given.
Another challenge was to make creations using only tin foil and pipe cleaners.
